A few weeks ago I posted Lydia & Jon’s pre-wedding shoot, which was a lovely relaxing and natural shoot one Sunday morning, a week before the wedding! It was the first time I had met Lydia & Jon and we had a lovely time, chatting away and getting to know each other. It was so obvious to me that they were really in love and had such an air of serenity about them. Needless to say after meeting a lovely couple in love, I was really excited about photographing their wedding!!
The morning was so relaxed at Lydia’s parents house, she even had time to do her mums make up without panicking about getting her own done in time! Gerry, Lydia’s Dad looked very smart in his family tartan and kilt.
Lydia & Jon were married at Bournemouth Town Hall, in the Willows room, which is beautiful and opulent, perfect for smaller intimate weddings. There were 27 guests, which created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The ceremony was heart warming with lots of laughter and emotion, it was a very hot humid day, so the exchange of rings was a bit of a challenge!
We then had some time in the beautiful Bournemouth gardens, where we captured the guests and I took some couples shots before proceeding onto St Leonard’s Hotel in Ringwood.
Lydia & Jon are also expecting a baby in October, so the day was charged with emotion and happiness, I really loved being there and sharing in their day.
Here is a selection of images from the day!
Congratulations Lydia & Jon and I can’t wait to hear about the arrival of teeny Bradford!!
Lots of love
