Last Sunday I had a great day exhibiting at the Highcliffe Castle Autumn Wedding Fair. Highcliffe Castle has a very special place in my heart, as it was where we were married 3 years ago, so I can hand on heart recommend the castle as a perfect venue for your wedding ceremony.
If you are looking for a venue with character, beauty and amazing light (a photographer’s dream!), this is the place for you! The Winter Garden room is where they hold the ceremony, with so much light pouring in the windows you are guaranteed to have great lighting for your ceremony all year round. The glass also provides an exciting aerial view for your guests seeing you arrive! Highcliffe Castle is unique in so many ways, but where else can you think where there is a castle, right by the beach?! This also provides fantastic photographic opportunities, as it’s only a short walk down to the beach after your ceremony for your couples shoot.
The day of the wedding fair, was a mixed bag with the weather, torrential rain one minute and sunny the next! Thank you to all that made it, it was lovely to meet you all, and it was also fab to meet the lovely suppliers exhibiting. I managed to capture a few shots of some suppliers during the day.
Beautiful white trees at the entrance provided by : Twilight Tree & Flower hire
I love the retro / shabby chic style of stationary by : Lovely Jubbly Designs
A lovely pink cadillac!
All these lovely sweets were right behind me all day, so tempting!! Scarlett’s Vintage Sweets provide a variety of old sweet shop style stands for your wedding!
My next door neighbour was the lovely Twilight Tree & Flower Hire – A Dorset based company offering a fantastic selection of luxurious artificial treats and flowers.
The girls at ‘ Calm amongst the chaos‘ had a beautiful corner of one of the exhibition rooms, set up like a vintage dressing room, with beautiful dresses and accessories.
Here is my stand, filled with lots of pretty things! Any of my previous brides…Can you spot your self on my stand?!
And last but not least, another lovely neighbour ‘Jules the Florist’ , offering modern, contemporary, traditional and chic bouquets and arrangements. I love their shabby chic style stand!
All in all a great day, and an absolute pleasure to be exhibiting at one of my favourite venues in Dorset!
