I’ve been selecting the images for this blog post with a little smile on my face, it’s bringing back lovely memories of warm summer sunshine, loved up happy people and celebrations!
I met Sarah & Tim and their two little girls at a wedding Open Day at The Three Tuns, we clicked straight away! Not least because we both have two little girls, but because my husband and I had exactly the same wedding venues for our big day, Highcliffe Castle for the ceremony and the reception at The Three Tuns! A perfect mix of formality to tie the knot followed by the laid back rustic charm at the Three Tuns for the celebrations. Personally I’m a big fan of barn weddings, I just love the informal, relaxed feel of the venue and the flexibility with the styling options. I haven’t seen one wedding look the same at The Three Tuns, I love seeing how different they all look with the couples’ individuality stamped on it.
Sarah’s Aunt played a big part in styling the venue with a romantic Shakespearean theme of ‘Midsummer’s night dream’. The marquee was transformed into a beautiful green forest, with an abundance of fresh flowers and metres and metres of beautiful bunting decorating the barn. There was even may poles! It really was beautiful and so colourful! Here is a small selection of images from their day!
