Hey everyone!  Thanks so much for checking out this blog post.  It’s been a little while since I’ve updated you with what I’ve been up to, I promise I’ll get better at the blogging side of things!  As you all know, I am a Lifestyle Photographer, specialising in Weddings & families, but I had a recent epiphany… I gave it a lot of thought and got very excited about it when I thought about all the awesome people in business I know (and haven’t met yet!) that I could potentially help.

I love shooting Lifestyle Photography.  For me, it’s the reason I take photos, I want to capture life as it happens and all it’s important milestones.  I enjoy capturing ‘real’ life, and all the beautiful stories that it tells!

Still follow?…. Ok, great.. and in today’s world with the increase in Online businesses, E-Commerce, Network Marketing, Blogging, Influencer Marketing (just to name a few) there is a growing need for businesses to have beautiful imagery that authentically represent themselves and their brand.  Images that provide a quality and captivating online presence that speak to their ideal customers and shows them who they are as a brand and what they provide, be it a service or a product.

When I mention Personal Brand Photography to people, I get a mixture of looks, from totally confused to totally getting it… so I’ll just briefly try and explain how awesome it is and how it could potentially help you!

Personal Brand Photography is a mixture of lifestyle, commercial & portrait photography, specifically tailored for an individual who would like to create a meaningful connection with their ideal customers.  Your customers need to trust you long before they commit to using your services or buying your products and by being present in your social media and in your website, people will start to get to know you and connect with you.  Inspire authenticity and your creativity and make yourself stand out from the crowd , get yourself out there!

Personal Brand Photography is so much more than just a headshot!  It’s about being authentic, showing your real story!! Where do you work?  What do you do when you work?  What do you make, do or sell? What are your loves in life?  Where do you hang out?  What makes you happy?…  When you show all of this to your online audience, your dream client will see the beauty in what makes you tick, and chances are,  they will love the same things as you, and they’ll think ” Hey, I love this girl, she totally gets me, I love what she’s doing here….” , then there’s a really high chance that your ideal client will then click on ‘buy’ or ’email me’ , etc etc! You get the picture!

This brings me to the purpose of this blog post.  My very first Personal Brand Photography Session, with my beautiful and amazing Florist friend Suzi!  I have known Suzi for the past 3 years now, we met when our eldest children started school and we also have the mutual bond of being in the wedding industry.  We’ve both come a long way in our own business journeys and I was so excited when Suzi asked me to do her branding shoot.  This comes at an exciting time for Suzi, as she plans her rebrand.  Where she needed new images for her website, blog, marketing materials and Instagram.  I can whole heartedly recommend ‘Suzi Horrocks Flowers‘.  If you would like to feel like you are hiring your friend to design the flowers for the most important day of your life, who will share your vision, and create stunningly beautiful and creative floristry, Suzi’s your gal!
