I’m so happy to be finally getting Sarah & James’ wedding up on the blog! They both live in Bournemouth, but decided to host their beautiful, vintage wedding in Heathfield, East Sussex, where Sarah spent her childhood. The styling of the wedding reflected Sarah & James’ personalities perfectly! From the vintage car, to the home made bunting and the tea party themed wedding breakfast.
The ceremony was held at The Chantry in Heathfield. It is the cutest little chapel I have ever seen!! It is a 150 year old decommissioned baptist church nestled between the South Downs and the High Weald. It reminded me of a chapel out of Little House on the Prairie, the interior was beautifully white and bright, which created a beautiful canvas in which Sarah & James created their vision. Sarah walked down the aisle to one of James’ Best Men playing the Ukulele, which she had always dreamed of!
Their reception was just down the road at the local village hall, where they had long trestle tables filled with yummy afternoon tea. James had made their own Photo Booth and garden games which were a great success with their guests!
Here is a selection from their day …. !
