On the blog tonight I have a beautiful wedding to share with you! Nikki & Paul met whilst she was travelling in Australia and their love blossomed in Byron Bay, which I can say from experience is such a beautiful place! Nikki is originally from Poole, and they both decided that they would like to get married in the UK and spent a few months here over the summer, planning their wedding!
The big day was at the end of August, on a beautiful summers day. The whole wedding party started the preparations off at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel , including Paul and his Ushers and best man, which was a little nerve wracking at times that the girls and guys may bump into each other, but they managed to stay out of eyes view! Paul’s best man and Usher’s were from his home country South Africa, though luckily a couple of them live in London! Nikki also had bridesmaids that had travelled all the way over from Oz! Nikki looked absolutely stunning in her bridal gown with beautiful vintage lace and her bridesmaids had amazing coral floor length dresses, such a lovely colour scheme.
The ceremony was held at Christchurch Priory, a magnificent Parish church situated right in the centre of Christchurch town and Quay, it’s fantastic architecture provides a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies. After the ceremony we then went onto Mudeford Quay where Nikki, Paul and I took the ferry across to the famous Mudeford Beach huts for their couples shoot. This has got to be one of my favourite locations in Dorset, it’s so picture perfect, and a wonderful backdrop!! I’m sure you will agree, they look gorgeous and so so happy!
Here is a selection from the day!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Manthey and happy travels back to Oz!
